Choice of Games 2025 Hidden Gems Sale

Shhhhh! It’s our super secret special sale!
Thanks to a very scientific poll conducted on our forums, we’re proud to announce that our “most underrated” games, aka the Hidden Gems, are on sale on our website!
Pick them up for discounts up to 40% off until April 3rd on choiceofgames.com!
Nikola Tesla: War of the Currents, Cliffhanger: Challenger of Tomorrow, Broadsides: HMS Foraker, The Play’s the Thing, and A Squire’s Tale are all on sale now on the web.
I really hope this sale will bring these games some richly-deserved attention.
Jo Graham and Amy Griswold have written several stellar games, so it is no small matter when I say that The Play’s the Thing is my favorite. It’s a celebration of the act of creation, the dynamic world of theatre, and the power of art in a world of injustice and strife. There’s also a curse (if you believe that kind of thing), a tragic backstory (if you can find it), and an adorable little dog you can befriend (DOGGO). If you’re a Shakespeare nerd like me, this will go straight onto your list of favorites, but even if you’re not the sort of person who refers to the Bard as “the Bard,” there’s a lot to enjoy here.
Cliffhanger: Challenger of Tomorrow is a pastiche of old-timey serials, and William Brown absolutely nails it. It’s over-the-top, sometimes preposterously so, jam-packed with page-turner, blockbuster, potboiler thrills. Those who know Brown as the author of The Beast of Glenkildove will discover a new side to his talent. I usually prefer more character-driven stories, but Cliffhanger is just plain fun. Plus - and I cannot emphasize this enough - you can shoot Hitler in the face. Why would you not buy a game that allows you to shoot Hitler in the face? You know you want to.
I haven’t yet played any of the other three games, but I feel confident suggesting you at least check out Choice of Broadsides: HMS Foraker. Choice of Broadsides was probably the first ChoiceScript game I ever played, and even though nautical yarns aren’t my usual genre, I was enchanted. HMS Foraker isn’t a sequel per se, but it is set in the same world, and it’s by Paul Wang, author of the Dragoon Saga, so I figure it has to be worth reading.
I wanted to buy Tesla with discount (4,99 Euors) but in the app I see the price of 6,99 Euros.
I think the sale is on the CoG website only.
Ah, shame, would have loved to grab Tesla.
thank you for the information
