SAN FRANCISCO--May 22nd, 2015: Choice of Games announced today that "It's Killing Time," the latest in their popular line of multiple-choice interactive-fiction games, is now available on iOS, Android, and, via the Chrome Web Store, Windows, OS X, and Linux.
Travel the world, meet interesting new people, and assassinate them for money!
"It's Killing Time" is an ultra-violent 140,000-word interactive novel by Eric Bonholtzer, where your choices control the story. It's entirely text-based--without graphics or sound effects--and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.
For example, when taking aim at General Hector Cortez with your sniper rifle, another man stands in front of your target, blocking your shot. What will you do?
A) Pull the trigger and shoot through him. He's collateral damage.
B) Wait to see if he moves. He could be an innocent victim, and I don't want to get any more blood on my hands than is absolutely necessary.
C) Shoot him in the leg, then take out the target. I'm confident I can get the shots off quickly enough to take out the mark once the man falls out of the way wounded.
D) Call my controller for instructions. This is something unforeseen and I don't want to take him out if he's on the "do not kill" list.
Earn respect, reputation, and wealth as a hired assassin. You'll be dressed to kill, driving an exotic car with outlandish weapons in the trunk.
But in the glamorous, fast-paced world of murder-for-hire, you can never know who to trust and who's gunning to take you out. Who will betray you? Whom will you betray?
Will you be a spiritual hitman or hitwoman, a ruthless assassin, a total psychopath, or a righteous killer? The choice is yours.
