About the Author

Vance Chance grew up on Fighting Fantasy gamebooks and boasts a huge collection in his bedroom. One afternoon, he came up with the crazy idea of writing his own piece of Interactive Fiction and entering it in the 2024 Spring Thing. Outside of his gaming life, Vance studied at the Johns Hopkins University and has enjoyed a varied career in manufacturing, consulting and the military.
